The Oak Lawn Band of Dallas
Since 1980, the Oak Lawn Symphonic Band has served Dallas and its gay community both by performing locally and nationally at such events as the inauguration ceremonies of both Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, all of the Gay Games, the March on Washington, and many concerts and parades. Today, the Oak Lawn Band performs for private events as well as publicly with a concert season that runs from September through June and at Dallas’ annual Texas Freedom Parade.
