As one of the original LGBA Bands we want to invite you to help celebrate LGBA’s 30thAnniversary Thursday, September 13ththrough Sunday, September 16th, 2012. LGBA conferences over the past years have become BIGGER and BETTER, so what a great place to carry on this tradition in a State that Pride's itself in being Bigger and Better! From our Football Stadiums, our Arts District, the Shopping and Restaurants, and our Night Life.
In January of this year our Conference Committee met and one of the first items on agenda is to create a list of goals for our conference. The Top Six Goals are:
1) Good Fun Musical Experience
2) To Be Great Host and to make the Conference Fun
3) Provide Take Aways (Learning) Musical and Workshops
4) Create a Unique Experience
5) Make History
6) Shock and Awe the City of Dallas through our Performances
The Oak Lawn Band and the City of Dallas look forward to your visit!

Has LGBA board and you decided if you are having a jazz band? I am the Principal Director of the MFB and I direct the Freedom Jazz! Big Band. I was hoping to see LGBA bring forward Jazz Education and Advocacy through a group for the conference. Please let me know if you might be doing so.

Could you arrange to have 3xl t-shirts available. There are alot of larger band members that wear that size. I, for one person, would be glad to pay any additional cost for the larger shirt size.
