Summer Time

The Oak Lawn Band is comprised of multiple musical and performing groups.  May 7th we ended our 2010-2011 Concert Season with a Concert featuring our Symphonic Band.   The Symphonic Band is currently on hiatis until rehearsals begin on Monday, August 15th, 2011.  

Currently the Oak Lawn Band "Jazz Worx II" is currently rehearsing on Monday evening at Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 7:30 to 9:30pm.   If you play an instrument commonly found in a Big Band please come join us.  Currently we are looking for a Guitar player and vocalist.

During the summer and fall the band also performs as a Marching Band.   In June we head to Houston for their Pride Parade on June 25th and all are welcome.   In August we start getting ready for parades in Dallas, Austin, and Ft. Worth.
